Hi all. So I'm due my first in May of next year. I only found out I was pregnant on Saturday. My husband is great but I have no friends at this stage they either have grown up kids or arent planning to any time soon
I have two sisters. One with grown up kids who she doesn't see and one who's getting married soon so is in her own little bubble.

I would just like someone to talk about all of this as I'm really anxious about the next 9 months.

Thanks for reading :)

@Clark20 I've told my sister last night she was ecstatic and cried ALOT 😅 feel abit more at ease now it isn't just me who is keeping the secret 😆

MrsTeece2be · 18/09/2019 10:23

Had a couple of ladies message me regarding the whatsapp group!

Hopefully we can have a few more help ease everyone's stress! Grin xx

Clark20 · 18/09/2019 10:36

@flossy12 Awww that's brilliant!! And yes a weight off your shoulders to speak to her. It's so exciting to tell someone and there reaction to be so good! ❤️❤️

Is anyone experiencing itching? I'm very nauseas today 😭 and find myself itching all over?? Not sure if it's something to be concerned of or normal??

MrsN2911 · 18/09/2019 10:36

@MrsTeece2be I'd love to get involved in the WhatsApp group but I don't know how to send you a private message?! Sorry I feel like such a dinosaur 😂. Please let me know how to do it 😊 xx

MrsTeece2be · 18/09/2019 10:42

If you click the 3 little dots under my message it should say PM.. if you cant find it I dont mind adding my number on here for you all to add, might make things a little easier x

flossy12 · 18/09/2019 10:53

@Clark20 aha yeah she said she can't believe she didn't notice the little signs 😅 not smoking or drinking, being tired, not buying any new clothes or clothes in my size and even bought me a night dress I said to get a size 14/16 😅😂 bless her

Clark20 · 18/09/2019 10:55

@MrsTeece2be @MrsN2911 I can't see any three dots or anyway to send a private message either?? I have the phone app? Is that why? It is hard to keep track on here!! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Herewego2020 · 18/09/2019 11:16

@kstann I had my first born at the midwife led unit and a student nurse even delivered him. I know some would be very nervous about that but she was so amazing and also it was so relaxing in the unit. My 2nd didn't give a chance for anything as he was 2 weeks early && I turned up last minute and that was that lol. I would choose midwife led unit again this time if possible. Hope helps 🤗

MrsTeece2be · 18/09/2019 11:29

Oooo not sure how it works on the app, I'm on the internet.

My number is 07881297024 .. think it may be easier this way lol xx

Bumpingalong84 · 18/09/2019 11:42

Aww @flossy12 that’s such a nice reaction. It is so exciting telling people. We are trying so hard to keep it to ourselves this time, a small handily on people know but I’d be excited to surprise my parents with a scan picture, it’ll be there 8th grandchild.

flossy12 · 18/09/2019 11:47

@Bumpingalong84 aww bless you 😍 yeah we wanted to wait until 12 weeks but not sure I can wait that long 😅 x

Herewego2020 · 18/09/2019 11:48

@flossy12 my sister was first to be told too 🤗 still not told parents lol. My sister said "I'm pretending I didnt know" lol. We went Tesco last night and there was a woody from toy story baby grow that we found hilarious and she sent a pic to my oh saying shes buying this for baby and his response was colourful to say the least. Dont think he liked it as much as we did 😂

flossy12 · 18/09/2019 12:18

@Herewego2020 😂😂 YeH my sister can't wait to start buying stuff too 😅 she's told me to buy some more clothes storage 😅

ChampooPapi · 18/09/2019 12:37

@Shak19 I will definitely be your virtual bump buddy, signing in Smile due around 4th of May, my third baby & just booked my first appointment for first week of October

ChampooPapi · 18/09/2019 12:48

@mrsf1204 and @Shelbustotherescue I'm in the south west too. I had one baby in Torbay nearly 10 years ago and the other in Bristol 18 months ago.

This one will be born in Devon as well and I was hoping care had got better, sounds like it hasn't!

mrsf1204 · 18/09/2019 13:51

@ChampooPapi @Shelbustotherescue I'm hoping my experience was a one off! To be honest I'm just putting the whole day to the back of my mind pretending it never happened. I feel pregnant, my boobs hurt, my back aches, I get waves of nausea and my tests are getting stronger lines by the day. I know my body, I know my results, I know I'm too early for a scan to show it so I'm trusting that at the moment - as it's all I can do until told otherwise!

Peppinana · 18/09/2019 14:09

Hi all- just checking in and hope everyone’s doing well. I still have a rotten cold and have lost my voice on top of the nausea and aches and pains so I feel grumbly and whingy. My booking in appt is sorted for the 14th October when I’ll be nearly 8 weeks. They didn’t do my booking in til 11 weeks with dd and given I will need to be consultant led I'm pleased they’re getting the ball rolling early. I’m in the north east and will be under the same consultant as last time which is reassuring.
I’ve taken three tests this week, just to keep seeing the result Smile

MarshmallowsOnToast · 18/09/2019 15:15

Turned 6w today & wham!! 🤢🤢🤢

Really nauseous this morning had to chuck my coffee away.

Peppinana · 18/09/2019 15:50

@MarshmallowsOnToast I know the feeling. Usually I love coffee and cannot face it at all at the minute.

Alice8688 · 18/09/2019 16:31

Has anyone else completely "lost" all of symptoms. Other than slightly sore nipples (boobs/nipples were agony a few days ago) everything else has disappeared. I don't feel sick or even that tired. I've also had cramps to one side (where I always get period pain. Always to 1 side. And very low). Has anyone experience this and had a happy outcome?... xxxx

lovepositivity · 18/09/2019 16:56

@Alice8688 I'm the same as you so interested to hear the replies. Usually I have really noticeable cramps/pulling pains but today, nothing! My sister has said they come and go, but I still worry x

Amanduh · 18/09/2019 17:13

Hello ladies... jumping on.. think I’m due around the 5th May! Those who are worrying about symptoms, it’s very normal for them to come and go! I have had heartburn and occasionally sore boobs but no real symptoms really. This is my second and it’s all new to me because my first I found out at 17 weeks and have never been through these early nerve wracking stages!

Alice8688 · 18/09/2019 18:04

Thank you ladies. Xx

@lovepositivity the sharp period like pains are the worry. As I haven't had them since I found out I was pg. so now I'm worried something is wrong. They are quite painful. Almost as bad when I actually have af. Xxx

facevalue · 18/09/2019 18:44

so depressing that i rejected a slice of chocolate cake covered in amazing icing .... that NEVER happens 😢

Shelbustotherescue · 18/09/2019 18:49

Having a bad day of it today, struggling with coping with my past miscarriages, been having tummy ache for a few days and I'be got a bad feeling, i can't put my finger on it, just that something doesn't feel right again Sad I've spoken to my midwife and they are scanning me tomorrow morning just to check everything's okay.

I honestly thought by getting pregnant I'd be "ok" but I'm not Sad
