Fizzy drinks

So I’m at week 26 and all the way through I’ve craved fizzy sweet drinks.. to the point where I’ve gotten out of bed and drove to McDonalds for a Fanta.
I find nothing takes the craving away but drinking them.
I’m worried about the sugar intake however.
Anyone had the same?

TIA :)

Do the Zero sugar versions not do it for you?

I have a bottle of Pepsi max a day! Drinking it mostly through the night!! Just drink a diet version x

I definitely wanted fizzy drinks in my first trimester to ease the awful taste and sick feeling. I’m now drinking 1/3 fruit juice and 2/3 fizzy water if I want something similar to try and keep my sugar intake lower. It’s a pretty good substitute.

Could be worse - I’m craving fizzy sweets Shock I’ve never been a sweet muncher in my life!
Fizzy water and no added sugar squash is rather nice Halo

Not great for your teeth but I’ve heard of worse things

@BarleyG not gonna lie I do have a thing for fizzy haribo.. although not with the same intensity as I have for sugary drinks.
It’s soo strange usually I’m just a big tea/water drinker!
OH commented aswell I think that’s when realisation hit Grin

Love pepsi. Before begging pregnant always had a bottle. But now... Is really love the stuff but it's so full of crap. I have it occasionally now.

Replaces with orange juice! Probably no better on the sugar. But least with vit c.

Try low sugar fruit juices mixed with fizzy water? It might help curb the cravings and is much healthier x
