Really Worried

Ok I got a BFP last week, so showing 5 weeks pregnant, if you put it into due date calculator.

Delighted, wasn't actively trying as was going to go back on my pill, came off it a few months back as was worried about an abnormal smear and thought changing my pills had caused it.

Anyway I had been taking my husbands painkillers for a lower back injury I got on holidays as was too lazy to go to doctor and knew they would only give me diffene which I have and didn't do anything.

Now I am worried they will have caused some damage? Literally had taken one the day of the pregnancy test.

They are oxycodone type ones, the slow realease type which I thought would be better than popping a few tablets a day .

Panicking isn't the word.

I have spinal arthritis and used to take tramadol, naproxen, gabapentin and omeprazole to ease the pain - the day I found out I was pregnant I had been off roading with my husband in our 4x4 and taken 4 doses of each of the above. I was 3 weeks pregnant at the time but obviously didn't know. My baby is fine, I'm now 27+2 🙂 I wouldn't worry too much but potentially call your GP if you're concerned. Good luck with your pregnancy!

Hi Anderson

Ah thank you for replying, yes I actually didn't take the tramadol , he has those too for a chronic back condition as I didn't want to have to take any more than I needed, regardless I shouldn't have been taking them anyway but didn't see any harm as was due my period and had pains etc.

Thanks again and glad to hear your pregnancy is going well x

I'm confident you'll be fine - people have done plenty worse and had healthy babies!
