Yes to heartburn! Hope starting to get sore in the night too. On the plus side my hair is crazy long and seems to not get greasy for days-skin all cleared up (I suffer from rosacea)

I'm still a little tired but not as much as I was early on. I'm 24 coming up to 25 weeks

MyFartWillGoOn · 02/09/2019 15:32

Hips not hope 🤦🏻‍♀️

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 02/09/2019 15:36

27 weeks and may dissolve in the rain at this point. I have PGP/SPD, heartburn, I've been crying at things not because they are sad necessarily but maybe just because I like them? I've had thrush that the dr didn't prescribe the correct treatment for so that's only just cleared off but I had it for so long that I developed a related fungal infection somewhere else! So I have a new cream for that now. Feels better to get that moan out the way! Off into trimester 3 where I believe I can expect things to just get worse. This little guy better be just so cute that I melt when he puts in an appearance lol.

VapeVamp12 · 02/09/2019 15:55

I'm 27+3

I have been super lucky so far and had minimal symptoms.

Only thing I'm getting now is muscle pain and pelvic pain which is much worse when I've walked a lot in the day. I could barely get up a couple of weeks ago but it seems to have eased now.

cxxxx · 02/09/2019 16:30

Not sure on how to tag you ladies into this🙈 I'm new here lol. Does anyone know if my midwife will prescribe me anything for the heartburn? And I've also been getting really bad shaky hands feel like it's when my blood sugar drops😩

We've not got long left now ladies💕

@cxxxx my midwife told me to go to the drs to get something prescribed or to buy ranitidine which has been quite successful and I got it for 80p from home-bargains. Just ask her she'll let you know what's recommended and safe.

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 02/09/2019 16:43

Oh and mention the shaky hands just in case it's something they want to look in to, I'm never sure what's normal and what isn't.

basicwitches · 02/09/2019 16:48

26 weeks and heartburn! Agonising knee and shoulder pain from sleeping on sides AND still getting morning sickness! Ahhhh when will it end

Aneley · 02/09/2019 16:56

24 weeks with SPD which is getting progressively worse on a weekly basis to the extent I am barely getting any sleep. Add to that that my little one seems to have a thing about kicking my bladder around and an hour long commute to work (+ an hour back) and you get my current mood. I SO wouldn't cross me these days.

mistermagpie · 02/09/2019 17:31

27 weeks today! That must be officially third trimester?

What I will say about heartburn (and I'm an expert in this - I have suffered from reflux my whole life and terribly during two previous pregnancies) is forget about gaviscon and rennies and get on the proper stuff. I'm on omeprazole and have been since about 21 weeks, it's a complete game changer. Don't suffer any longer than you have been. Ranitidine is also not bad but those are the only two things that have ever helped me.

mistermagpie · 02/09/2019 17:32

Oh and GP for meds, at least where I live.

cxxxx · 02/09/2019 17:47

Thanks for all your responses!
Have any of you noticed increased weight?
Before I was pregnant I was around 11and half stone. I weighed myself last week and I was so shocked I weigh 14stone! Couldn't believe it!!
My first child was 8.3lb and was over due 10days had to be induced. Worried he's gonna be a 10lb and if he is will the midwifes still expect me to delivery naturally or will I have to have a c section?
Thank you

Hi there ! 25 weeks with my third baby I was also 11 1/2 stone before pregnancy I have only put on 6lb but I had bad sickness and I have been watching what I eat to be careful as I'm ten years older than when I last had kids mine are (16-11) so wanted to make sure I kept healthy as possible however now have spd/pgp which makes walking or exercise impossible! Itching like crazy have terrible headaches and have just thrown up all my lunch! Really feeling sorry for myself at the minute 😭😭👶🏼

cxxxx · 02/09/2019 18:09

dollytutu - Aw really sorry to hear that! I had terrible sickness until I was around 16 weeks couldn't keep anything down at all and was on anti sickness which helped a little. Touch wood all cleared up now!😂

What's your due date? X

27 weeks tomorrow with my second, heartburn on and off, but MY GOD the shortness of breath is ruining me!

dollytutu · 02/09/2019 18:22

@cxxxx Obstetric Cholestasis hun it's a liver condition due to the pregnancy so early birth is needed to prevent still birth really only sign is terrible itching they take a blood test to diagnose
@littlemissminor I have this too short of breTh? But I wondered if my bloods were low and I was anemic?

bobble53 · 02/09/2019 18:45

26+5 and restless legs are a nightmare!

Dec2019mumtobe · 02/09/2019 18:48

26 weeks in a few days 😊

No heartburn, but I suffered badly with indigestion and acid in T1. I had to have Omeprazole from the doctor in the end. Dr told me it's probably go in T2. It did, around week 17/18. But then she said it'll probably come back in T3 when baby squishes all my organs. Waiting for that now.

I get tired very quickly and easily now. And I seem to need a wee all the time!

I've not had any weird hormonal episodes. No crying at strange things or rages at DH. But, I normally get this and bad anxiety with PMT. if anything, the pregnancy has regulated my hormones nicely! I have had little to no anxiety for months now!

Dec2019mumtobe · 02/09/2019 18:48

Oh yeah and I seem to have an awful case of "baby brain fog"

littlemissminor · 02/09/2019 18:50

@dollytutu - yes anemic! On iron but not doing much, had more bloods on Friday to see if I need more, was the same the first time round too!

Dec2019mumtobe · 02/09/2019 18:51

And oh yeah, also shortness of breath! I find drinking loads of water helps. You need more fluids than usual when pregnant and being dehydrated can make your heart beat faster I believe! It might be to do with lower blood pressure. Can't remember. Baby brain fog!

But I do find it does help!

Jade218 · 02/09/2019 18:56

Awww bless all you ladies! I'm only TTC at the moment so I know I shouldn't be on this thread lol but wishing you all the best with your journeys and hope symptoms ease up soon x

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 02/09/2019 18:58

@Jade218 best of luck with TTC! I wanted this so badly so I really struggle with not enjoying it.
