Bleeding 6 weeks

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I've been spotting on and off for the last 5 days, it's my first pregnancy so when I first noticed the bleeding I rushed to the doctors. They told me it was a normal thing. This morning I woke up and went to the loo and I noticed the bleeding had gotten a little heavier and it looked like it had dripped into the toilet, but I had no blood on my pad at all?! Am I having an early miscarriage.. I'm so worried

Hey, didn't want to read and run.

In my first pregnancy I had bleeding throughout the first 8 weeks and she's now a happy 4 year old, so don't panic too much.

Is the blood dark or bright red? They say if its darker then its old blood and not as much of a worry.

Also, unless you're soaking through pads my doc wasn't that concerned.

BUT, if you're still bleeding please phone them back, they might be able to offer you some reassurance at least. Don't worry in silence xx

The blood is a mix of pink and light red on and off, it's very weird I wouldn't know if was bleeding unless I go to the toilet and wipe. I contacted my docs and they said to just ring my local early pregnancy unit xx

Definitely ring your EPU, at 6 weeks they might be able to do an early scan to see what's going on xx

I have done, she didn't give me and advice or anything to do with the bleeding but she's given me an appointment and early scan this Friday xx
