Should baby bump move

Hello all

This is a strange question, but here goes! I'm 39 weeks next week and have noticed that when I lie on my side or do some exercises that require moving my body sideways, my bump sort of relaxes a little bit in the direction my body is going. Is this normal? Or should it just be hard and firm at all times?

Desperate to get baby out soon too, I wonder if any other mamas approaching 39 weeks feel the same!?

Xxxx

That's normal...My bump moves...!!I'm 31+4 days...Your so close now!Not long left at all.good luck X

Yes I think this is normal too. I feel a pulling sensation when I lie on my side that is pretty uncomfortable, a pillow under the bump will stop it though.

I am 36 weeks tomorrow and CANNOT WAIT for baby to be here. I am doing all of the 'old house wives' prep (raspberry leaf tea, dates etc), in the hope that he wont be too late. I reckon by 39 weeks I will be feeling pretty restless about it. At the moment I am just focused on finishing work. I am going to burn this office chair before long!!

I'm 33+6 and my bump settles into different positions depending on how I sit/lie etc. I assume it's because I have minimal stomach muscle strength these days!

Yes I’m 37 weeks and mine moves too! I was overweight before I fell pregnant plus I carry small like my mum did with me and my sister, my bump in the morning is softer and less full compared to afternoon/evening when it’s usually rock hard mainly around the middle to top! 😘 xx
