Angular Pregnancy. Need Hope.

Anyone have experience or been diagnosed with an angular pregnancy? Or can anyone give me some insight? We conceived through IVF and I am 6 weeks one day. At my ultrasound yesterday, my doctor was originally worried that I was having a corneal pregnancy, which is a rare form of ectopic. After measuring, he said the pregnancy is inside my uterus, but it is very far up and could be an angular. He didn’t seem too concerned-and said he’s never seen these result in a miscarriage as they usually work their way down. But google tells me otherwise. I am with a reproductive endocrinologist and I go back next Friday for another ultrasound. He said we should know then. Other than the weird implantation sight, baby was measuring great and had a 96 BPM heartbeat. I’ve attached a picture of my ultrasound. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

He wasn't concerned. You shouldn't be either.

I adopted a rather fatalistic 'there's nothing that can be done. Today, I am pregnant.' Attitude during my (ivf) pregnancy.

All the horror stories are on the internet. The successes don't 'make the news' so to speak.

Hello,

I was wondering how your pregnancy had progressed? I have just been diagnosed with a potential angular pregnancy at 5.5 weeks after experiencing some light bleeding on and off and looking for info - note it is not interstitial and clearly in the uterine cavity. Thanks!

When I went in last week for my 7 week ultrasound, baby had grown and as she grew, moved more into the center of my uterine cavity. Hang in there!! I go back tomorrow for my 8 week ultrasound. I go weekly as we did IVF and I am being seen by a RE. Good luck to you!

Just to give you some hope.. I conceived via IVF and had our baby 4 months ago on 14th May.. unlike you we had no idea we were dealing with an angular pregnancy until our baby was delivered by planned C section at 37+2 we are now being used as a case study as it's so rare. Scary on reflection to think of what could of happened but part of me is glad we didn't know. All the best to you xx

Hello Shraygreen
Can you please share how did it go forward. I'm 5 weeks pregnant and my sonography report show intrauterine gestational sac at cornual end within endometrium. Other than location, everything else is looking good yolk sac is also seen and measuring 4 week 6 days.
