How is everyone
I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant iv been told the baby weight is 4 lbs and they said when I'm 26 weeks I will have to go into clinic . What does this mean what will they do ? Has any other moms been in this position before or going through it ? This is my first pregnancy so I have no idea what to expect from now

Do you mean 36 weeks?

rosie1998 · 31/08/2019 12:46

Yeah sorry 36 weeks .. I don't want to be going backwards in this pregnancy 😂

Maybe to have a check of baby and to discuss your options on giving birth?

I assume your midwife led not consultant led?

They are saying the baby is bigger then what he's ment to be at this stage of pregnancy so they had called me in for another scan at 36 weeks and to go into clinic

I would assume it's just for the midwife to review the results of the growth scan.

Might be to do another glucose test too. I'm measuring 4lb at 30 weeks and told me that its fine.

At my hospital, the consultants run ante natal clinics on most days of the week. If you are midwife-led but there's an issue, you get an appointment to see them in clinic. I had one for what was thought to be excessive growth at 32 weeks (and then DS was tiny when he was born...)
