Cholestasis in pregnancy

I am 34 + 2. A few years ago I developed hives with no explanation as to why so I've always been pretty itchy.

On Wednesday I saw the midwife & had my whooping cough injection.. she went through a list of things to watch out for in the third trimester and if i get any to call in ASAP. One of those was itchiness... especially the palms of hands & soles of the feet. To which I said to her oh I do get itchy palms sometimes. She asked me how often etc and said to keep an eye on it and if it gets worse call in. So I have crazy health anxiety anyway ... I am always worrying about my health so ever since then I have not stopped itching all over :-(

Part of me is scared it's a reaction to the injection (had it over 48 hours ago now).

Part of me is scared it's cholestasis and part of me thinks it's just my hives as I am known to bring things on myself through worry.

I have attached a picture of what my hand currently looks like. I start itching and then come out in raised white bumps (this is something that's always happened with my hives) in half an hour it will be gone & will start somewhere else... what would you do? :-(

Hi it seems Cholestasis is something ppl are very uneducated on! I have posted several times on here and not had much luck on the subject! So didn't want to read and run!! I have had it twice with previous pregnancies currently pregnant with my third and waiting to get diagnosis to been so itchy!
Have you had the blood test for OC? It's a simple LFTs and bile acid test results usually back next day! That will tell you if you have it!
As for the rash we don't get one with oc however you can get marks etc from the scratching
Hope that helped a bit
