Anyone else due end of September? Or early October?
Four people I know have had their babies this month and I'm so jealous as still got four weeks ish to go.
Has everyone's babies turned yet?
Anyone else getting inside hip pain now baby has moved down a bit?
Did my birth plan today gonna try for water birth has anyone else had one before and have any positive stories?
How is everyone else going to give birth?

Hi @tararob I'm due 1st October with my 3rd.

Baby has been transverse the whole time until this week, now 2/5 engaged - I have just under 5 weeks left.

Oh yes to the hip pains and lightning crotch Blush oh the joys!

Are you all ready?

@nuggles mine has gone from breech to head down in the last week according to my midwife (I felt mega movement but didn't realise he had flipped round as the shape of my belly felt the same) which is a big relief as wont need him turned now. She said he was 4/5 engaged which isn't much is it? I can feel fluttering and hiccups further down than usual so I'm hoping he will move down more over the next few weeks. It's my first one so everything's new not sure what to expect lol. I have everything ready I think I've even packed my bags so just waiting now.
Have you got everything ready?
Have you got any advice for pain relief I was thinking just gas and air as I'll be in the water hopefully so don't know what else I will need. Smile

Hey ladies! I’m due 22nd September. I finish work tomorrow it’s all becoming quite real now! Baby’s head is down but he’s measuring a couple of weeks behind so they just want to keep an eye on him so got another growth scan in a couple weeks to see how he is getting on. He is just below the average and has been all along so they are saying he’s fine just growing at his own pace! 😂🤭 typical boy! This is my first so have no idea what to expect from labour. I want a water birth but do need to check if I can as I have strep b and need two lots of antibiotics during labour. I’m exciting after learning lots of hypno birthing tips! Trying not to fixate on due date trying to approach the he will come when he comes attitude! Xx

I'm due 1st October and have no idea what position baby is in yet. Was head down at 34 weeks but still free moving so I'll find out more next week at my 36 week app.
I never got told about engagement with dd even though they sent me for a scan at 36 weeks as her head was so low they couldn't tell if she was breech (she was born at 37+4 so was clearly ready to go)

I had a water birth with dd and it was good, well as good as labour can be and I'm hoping to do it again this time as I just found it easier to position myself.

A water birth would be the dream. With my first two I had to be in the delivery suite (DS1 induced and DS2 had meconium in water)

This time the midwives can't decide if I should be obstetric led because I have asthma although no one said that the first two times.

My pain relief for DS2 was deep breathing and hypnobirthing. Plus I took my own speakers and playlist with songs that meant something to me to give me focus. Really helped!

Oh plus dancing and swinging on the gym ball helped with contractions too

Hey
DS is due on 23.9 so got about 3 and a half weeks left. He's our first so who knows when he might show up 🙈 he's been head down since about 30 weeks I think so fingers crossed he doesn't change his mind!

Bags all packed and in the car but it has been for ages, just (trying) to be prepared for something I have no idea how to be prepared for 😂

Hi! Due 24th September, baby has been head down for quite a while and 4/5 engaged last week at 35 weeks. Hoping it's moved down even further by my appointment next week! Been getting the occasional mild period type cramp for the past couple of weeks but no Braxton Hicks at all the whole pregnancy. First baby and just wanting it to come now, sort of sick of being pregnant haha!

Oh and the cankles are something else... :O

Hi, due 29th September here! Apparently baby's head has been down for about 5/6 weeks and midwife said last week that it's bobbing in and out of my pelvis.
Some days it feels like a watermelon between my legs and other days back to normal so I guess baby is just teasing us!
Our bags are about half packed but I just have a feeling we're going to be caught unawares - like if we put them in one car we'll have gone out in the other one when I start or something!

Getting excited and anxious now. Keeping everything crossed for a water birth but will be happy to go with whatever midwives recommend at the time!
