Feeling movement already?

Hi all so I'm nearly 12 weeks with third baby. Yesterday I was sure I felt a little flutter but thought no it must just be gas or normal stomach movement but today I've been drinking cold drinks and eating ice lollies to help with nausea and after I'm sure I've felt more movement. I know it's super early but being my third I know what the first flutters feel like and I'm sure I felt it early with first DC, has anyone else felt it this early or am I just imagining it?

Well, they’re only about the size of a kiwi and weigh less than half an ounce at twelve weeks so I’d say it’s extremely unlikely you’re feeling movement. You can feel movement earlier in second and subsequent pregnancies but they have to have a bit of weight behind them for their movements to be perceptible, imagine how tiny their limbs are if they’re kiwi sized from crown to rump!

I felt movement at a similar stage with my second. It wasn't frequent and was just flutters but I definitely felt it a couple of times. Sometimes I would go a week or so without feeling anything, then by 15/16 weeks it was almost daily.

I'm convinced I felt a wiggly movement at 12wks with DD2 (it was the night before my scan).

Yes I’ve been feeling movement since 12 and a half weeks with my second Smile

I could have sworn I felt some flutters/pops today and yesterday and I'm 10 weeks 4 days.
This time I have posterior, but previously I had anterior and felt similar flutters/pops around 15 weeks.

I thought I felt movements with my second when I was 12 weeks but wasn’t sure-the day I turned 13 weeks I was definitely sure (and i have an anterior placenta this time) as I remembered the sensation from no1. so I’d say it is possible, especially with your third. Not common perhaps, but possible! Now 35 weeks with no2 and he still moves a lot.
