Hey
I actually just posted on the ivf thread, but I could really do with some more advice... as I have meeting with obstetrician in a few hours.
I'm 11.5 weeks preg with first.
I have brittle bone disease and in the past few years have fractured my pelvis twice and my spine twice, just from a short jog or from picking something up at a funny angle. I was told the fractures in my spine (found March this year) would never mend. Treatment is really just strengthening muscles around back and hips for support, there's not much else they can do for me.
Anyway so childbirth.... I don't know what I should be aiming for? C section seems the best but scared of recovery and higher complication rates. I know this is quite rare so not sure I'll find someone with same case, but anyone out there have any ideas?
Other thing to bear in mind is that it's genetic, so baby could possibly have it too xxxx
Thanks xxxxx
