36 weeks - feeling awful help

I'm just over 36 weeks and had a sudden crash in energy levels over the past few days. I've been sleeping constantly and no motivation to do anything despite still having so much to do around the house. Also been crying a lot, it feels like the first trimester again!

Is this normal for this stage? Needing a bit of reassurance because the thought of maybe having 6 weeks left of this is stressing me out!

Have you had your iron levels checked recently?

Omg I could of written this!! Your not alone ❤️ I’d like to hear from others too if this is the norm! I am 36 weeks and 3 days. Literally so tired and grouchy - really started snapping at my OH recently. I’ve got an urge to do everything like cleaning etc etc and finishing off nursery then find myself in tears as I just can’t manage it! Getting up the stairs is exhausting enough! I want to nest and have energy but I’m not in that place 😢 I finish work on Friday so hoping that during the next 3 weeks before due date I will perk up a bit! Keep going mama! 💐 x

I am 38+6 and there has been no perking up Blush

God - I am 35+3 and also feel like this. There is so much I want to do, but get out of breath and exhausted so quickly. It’s beyond frustrating and I haven’t experienced anything like this in my previous pregnancies. I’m taking iron tablets, but haven’t noticed any difference....

Thanks everyone!

Haven't had my iron levels checked for a while. If I'm still feeling like this next week at my next appointment I will mention it but it's nice to know there's other people in the same boat!!

I'm 32+2 and I felt like this a few weeks ago and the iron helped loads. Mind you I still have less energy than I would normally and that's alright I think. Tell your midwife at the next appointment or GP.
