I felt pretty early at say 13/14 weeks tiny little flutters )3rd preg) however my cousin didn't feel till 24 weeks as her placenta was in way , I wouldn't. Worry x

15 weeks with the first one, and every day after that - posterior placenta, 17 weeks with the 2nd - anterior placenta, and then only sporadically until about 24 weeks.

OP I am in the same boat.
3rd pregnacy 17 weeks today and still nothing. It is very unsettling so I know how you feel.

I didn't really feel anything definite until about 18 weeks. Now 21 weeks and there's no denying those movements! First baby Smile

Anything up to 24 weeks is normal. There are a lot of factors that affect it when you feel movement but 16 weeks is still early.

You may have anterior placenta which often means you feel movements later, baby is still tiny at 16 weeks and it takes a lot of force for movement to be felt, muscle tone and body type/shape can also be a factor.

About 23 weeks for me.

melissa1215 · 28/08/2019 12:16

Around 16/17 weeks i felt little kicks, they felt like little fart bubbles to be honest 🙈 around 24 weeks I started feeling the big movements and they became visible outside my stomach

I was about 17 weeks and it is unlike anything I've ever felt before so knew it was the baby.

21 weeks now and I have a very active baby at night time (god help me)! and they actually feel like little pokes and prods now. they're still very low down though. I can't imagine how it feels when they get stronger!

20 weeks and been consistent every day since (33 weeks tomorrow). Had an anterior placenta at 12 week scan which moved posterior by 20 weeks so feel a lot of movements. Have heard with anterior it's possible to feel less.
