This is my first month ttc.

I was on the implant for 5 years before, I had a bleed once a month while on it, however I never tracked as it was always so light. Before going on the implant, My periods were super regular and 28 days.

I got my first period a few days after removal of the implant. On the 29th of July. I then got super light brown dicharge like bleeding when I wiped from cycle day 17-19, which I assumed was ovulation bleeding. We were ttc the whole of my fertile week.

I was expecting my period on cycle day 28 as normal when I noticed light spotting on cycle day 27 after using the toilet. But it is 2 days later and no af. I have tested alpt- still BFN. Anyone go through this or similar?

Over the last 2 days I have been feeling sick and dizzy. I have no sore boobs or anything. Stresses!

I was on the implant for the same amount of time - we didn’t TTC until around a year after I had it removed though. Going by my tracking I had a slightly irregular cycle for 2-3 months after having it removed but only by around 2-3 days shorter/longer than normal. Nexplanon should leave your system straight away so it may be that you’re pregnant although if you’re feeling sick the hormones should be high enough for a test to pick it up. Worth trying again in a few days with a FRER?

I wasn't on the implant but after my periods came back after breastfeeding DS my cycles became longer and my BFP didn't come until 4 days after I was due. The hormones can sometimes take a while to register I guess.

Thank you both. I will try again in a few days! I was convinced I wasnt pregnant after spotting on day 27, but now I am just confused! The waiting game sucks! X

I had my implant out earlier this year and was feeling quite sick/moody etc in the first month or so. It took 6 weeks before af arrived apart from an odd day earlier in the cycle. I conceived on the next cycle but as far as I know it can be straight away. Good luck!

My cycles were much longer after coming off the implant - I'm usually 31/32 days but they were 38/39 days for a few months. They did shorten again and I conceived 8 months after coming off it. Good luck.
