Water Retention?

Hi All,

I guess this is a question for the ladies who have already had a child. This is my first pregnancy and I'm currently 33 weeks. I've suffered from water retention from about 16 wks onwards and its just been getting progressively worse. I know its not the worst of pregnancy niggles but I find it very uncomfortable and was wondering if anyone can tell me how long it takes after baby is born for it to go away?

I suffered with this last time round but not this time (my nose was HUGE)and as I recall I peed most of it out within a few days lol.

So glad you mentioned your nose so is mine! I've NEVER heard of anyone else's nose swelling so I'm glad I'm not the only one

Oh yeah, it was massive and its not easily disguised is it.
Luckily I married an Italian so his nose always looked bigger than mine and I just took him everwhere with me lol.
