Looking for some advice please.
LMP was 8th July and had sex on 22nd July. I was due to ovulate on the 22nd based on my app (my cycles have ranged from 28-31 days over the past 6 months whilst trying to conceive). Got a +ve test on 8th Aug (period was 4 days late but we were on holiday so I couldn't get a test for a few days).
Went for a reassurance scan yesterday thinking I was 6+6. To our complete surprise the sonographer could see 2 sacs! The first sac measured CRL 1.6mm with an embryo present but no heartbeat yet. He thinks I'm a few days earlier that I'd calculated. The second sac isn't recorded on my notes as he wasn't sure if it's viable. On the screen he pointed out there was possibly a line through it (he described it like a sternum? This is a bit of a blur for me and DH as we were so shocked we cannot remember exactly what he said). We were told to wait 2 weeks & then have another scan which feels a lifetime away!
Just wondered if anyone has experienced anything similar?
