Tracking Movements

I have an anterior placenta so know it might be harder.

I only started feeling definite movements a couple of weeks ago.

How do you guys track patterns?

I notice most often that if i am not doing much, she moves more but then other days when I'm at work for example or moving more myself i feel her less.

I had one day last week when i had a day off and just didn't feel like doing much she was continuously rummaging around in there all day.

But then at work if lucky might feel a few kicks.

I think she"activates"around mid morning, around 2pm and then late afternoon and then just before i go to sleep.

I maybe i should keep a diary, but I'm rubbish at remembering to write in these things!

How does one recognise reduced movements? As i say some days i hardly feel her... But then the next day she'll reward me by moving more. How soon do you tend to notice if movements are reduced?

I think due to my placenta begging anterior and high, the movements i feel are all on the list part of my belly. And a few days ago she was having good fun bathing my cervix.

But yesterday i only felt a couple of bumps (was out yesterday with friends). The day before i was at work and felt a few movements at work. But the day before that i was off and she was having a rave or something.

So i feel atm everything is probably ok (had a few bumps so far just sitting doing nothing) but would like to know more about movement tracking!

Tia.

I feel like this is a post I could have written myself at your stage. I was so conscious of all her movements once I'd started to feel definite kicks and rolls, and was so tuned in to them I'd really panic if there was a change, or if I couldnt feel anything.
Advice I was given is that theres not always an established pattern so try not to worry too much about that.
I'm very similar in that when I relax, she seems to get very active and only latterly, when I was still at work I'd feel the odd kick and roll throughout the day, sometimes to the point I'd have to stand up for 5 minutes as it was uncomfortable while sat down 🤷‍♀️
I had a few panic days where I ended up in maternity assessment for reassurance after reduced movements but all was well.
If you're ever worried that you haven't felt anything, or it's much less than normal, follow the advice to lie down on your left for an hour or 2, have a cold drink and tune in to what baby is doing. They should move, kick or roll around during that time, and if they dont, then call your maternity assessment team who I'm sure will be happy to check you over.
I really wanted to have a 'pattern' but it hasn't happened, you eventually just get used to what's normal for you and your baby 🤗 enjoy it all!
