We've all at some stage or another read about "checking and tracking your cervix" with the same advice on its changes...
But how does it work IRL?
I track my cervix and mucus changes as well as use a ovulation test (clear blue one that looks for estrogen and LH surge).
Five days ago I got the static smiley face (LH surge detected) which means ovulation likely in 12-48 hours.
My cervix was higher than before the tests but not as high as it is now 5 days later. Today I can barely reach it (day 18 of cycle).
Last AF my cervix was crazy high leading up to and throughout bleeding.
My GP said that the cervix can drop lower to receive sperm. This does contradict everything online.
Which do I use as an indicator? LH tests or position?
Can you ovulate 5 days after LH surge?
Who else has opposite cervix behaviour? What did you do for guidance?
