Where do you feel first movements?

Hey as a first time I am analysing every feeling in my tummy and wondering if its baby! Can anyone help with where I'm likely to feel it? Is it below belly button close to pelvic bone or could it be higher? Hard to work it out and imagine it's just wind! I'm currently 16+3 x

Mine was my right hand side at the base of my belly. I felt it as little bubbles against my hand

This is my first and I was 19 weeks last week. I was told it usually feels like bubbles, so I was imagining a few gentle ones, it was more like a quick burst of a lot of little bubbles escaping a scuba divers mask 😂 it wasn’t unpleasant, it just surprised me in a good way x

I confused the early movements for gas - they are minute flutters like your stomach rumbling without any noise.

It's so hard to know if its baby or not! It could be rumbling (no noise) or gas and I have totally forgotten what's normal haha I'm worried things arent ok (just for how long there is between scans, no sign anything is wrong) so desperate to feel something! Not sure if I have felt bubbles too high so more likely gas.... thanks so much for the comments though it is so so helpful as I am still hopeful it is baby! X

With my first baby I was near the end of 19 weeks when I first felt movement from her, I was lying in bed one night and it felt like a tiny bubble jet. Smile
With my current pregnancy I was just coming up to 17 weeks, it was on my right-hand side just above my pubic bone I think. I'm 19+4 days now and she's developed one heck of a little kick on her already!

I have an anterior placenta so didn’t feel definite movements until baby was big enough to dropkick me in the side at 20ish weeks. Everything before that could be explained away as gas!

Mine have been very low down, closer to pelvic bone. Am 20 weeks now and have only really started feeling them properly the last week or so. So lovely when it happens though and I still get a little shock everytime it happens!

Sorry not pelvic bone, I meant pubic bone!
