So I’m aware you’re not to supposed to clean litter trays becuase of toxoplasmosis and to stay clear of the cat poop. However I’ve just realised my gardens unfortunately Been used a cat toliet! Lots of cat poo all over my grass near where I hang my clothes to dry Shock I didn’t touch it or stand in it but was sat outside for a while till I noticed and my clothes are hanging above some of it which is annoying. This shouldn’t be a problem should it? Currently 31 weeks pregnant!

If you haven’t touched it there’s no need to worry. Lots of people have cat litter trays in their houses while pregnant, me included, and you just need to avoid touching it. Is wash your hands if you’ve been sitting outside on the grass.
Can you get someone to clean it up?

I wouldn't worry. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and have a cat and litter tray at home. DP was working abroad for a bit and I cleaned the litter everyday (wore gloves and washed hands thoroughly after). I'm negative for toxi and live in a country where they test monthly and have never gotten it so I wouldn't worry too much!

You’re fine, you actually have to ingest it to be at risk. It’s not airborne.

I've got cats and have cleaned their litter tray every day, I don't wear gloves or anything but obviously I'm not eating it and wash my hands. My midwife in my first pregnancy said toxoplasmosis is actually quite a rare thing to come across in pregnancy and I probably would have had it before without even knowing (lifetime of cat ownership).

I think it only 'lives' in the poo for a matter of hours once its outside the body as well, so your risk in really low.
