I've just been for a check up with midwife, I'm 37+ 2 and I had high levels of glucose in my urine so am being tested for gestational diabetes tomorrow.

I had a bowl of cereal this morning so you think that would be enough to see a rise in blood sugar!?

I really hope it's just one of those things and all is fine tomorrow!

Hopefully it's just one of those things.

I was diagnosed with it late in my second pregnancy I was fine and so was dd but just to warn you, I was advised to induce at 38 weeks which is standard in my area not sure if it varies though.

It might be worth getting things organised just in case!

No, cereal would not have done that. It means you are leaking sugar in your urine so it's really high. Gestational diabetes is easily handled so don't panic. Induction will be encouraged though. Best of luck.
