Sweep at 36 weeks??

Hi all,

I’m having sweeps from today at 36 weeks due to severe asthma. Has anyone else had this? How effective will it be?

Sweeps really only tend to work if you're about to go into labour anyway... so it's unlikely to get things moving as you're pre-term. I'm really surprised they're doing this. Have you had steroid injections? What's the plan??

@physicskate no, no injections. Just came out of my app they’re scrapping the sweeps and inducing me next week instead

Sounds more sensible.
