Pain down the sides of bump

I know it’s probably just ligaments stretching but looking for advice anyway.

I’m 29+3 and as of the last week - 2 weeks whenever I stand up it feels like the inside of my bump at the sides are pulling but it feels painful. It’s been gradually getting worse and in work today I couldn’t stand up straight at all. It’s meant walking round is a bit of a nightmare too because it’s so uncomfortable. I didn’t experience anything like this with my first child although I’m a bit bigger with my second which may be why. My bump just feels so heavy and it’s almost as if the sides could just rip any moment (I probably sound so dramatic but I’m struggling to explain how it feels).
Has anyone else had this that can suggest ways to make standing/walking more bearable ?

Perhaps a maternity support belt for when at work? Mine helped my back a little, don't remember what brand it was I'm afraid

I don't know what would help but I'm having similar pain on my sides every now and again. I'm 26weeks with my 4th and didn't have anything like this before. Its actually really painful and as you said, feels like my sides are going to rip open! I sometimes get it when laying down too.. I think it depends on how the baby is laying, I have tried to push my sides with my hand and once the baby shifted when I did this, and the pain disappeared! Hopefully it won't get much worse for you, good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

I had this & it turned out the baby was laying transverse / across the tummy. He made a big move one night, which was very weird! But it’s so much more comfortable now.
