Headaches

Currently 16 weeks and have had headaches on and off since 6 weeks. I've had one for the past 48 hours that hasn't shifted with sleep, paracetamol, staying hydrated or an ice pack. I'm waiting on the midwife to call me regarding pain relief. Is there anything that worked for anyone out there?

This sounds exactly like me the other day. I don't have pain relief advice sorry, but mine took nearly 5 days to go away, it was exactly the same as yours, paracetamol didn't touch it, neither did sleep or lots of water. It literally went as fast as it cameSad

I rely on paracetamol, a Coke Zero (a bit of caffeine helps), slather on 4Head and then whack a migraine relief gel pad on top and a sleep eye mask so it’s dark and that has done the trick each time so far. The two menthol things combined makes my eyes water but seems to work. It’s miserable though having a constant headache that’s hard to budge xx

2nd trimester headaches are a thing and they suck!

I just go with a mix of paracetamol, those 4head sticks, sleep and lots of water.

I was given codeine at the hospital for the worst ones (my head was so bad they were worried I had pre eclampsia). It did take the edge off.
