I'm due jan 24th with baby number 1, so just about 17.5 weeks pregnant! Desperately waiting some movement!!! When did everyone else feel something? What did it feel like?

I’m 19+5 with third baby and I have only just felt little squirm like movements. Xx

I'm now 20w with my first and had a few little moments over the last couple of weeks where I think I've felt movement, but these last couple of days it's suddenly become definite and much more frequent so I'm not doubting it at all now!

Please try and relax. My daughter is pregnant and has an anterior placenta and she has felt very little movement and she is 22 weeks !! When I was pregnant expecting her I also didn’t feel many kicks . If you need reassurance call your local triage team and they will have a listen ...they did that for my daughter yesterday. Enjoy and chill with your lovely baby .

Hi, I was around 21/22 weeks before I felt any movement with my first but my placenta was posteria so that didn’t help.
I felt first movements this time around (DC2) at 17 weeks but placenta anterior this time and you also know what to feel for.
It’ll happen soon xxx

I'm 21 weeks tomorrow with anterior placenta and over the last few days the movements have really ramped up (before that I'd have the odd one off kick or little flutters/butterflies that I wasn't sure we're the baby or not).

There'll be certain positions where you feel movements more than others. I feel mine most when I squat, lie on my left side or sit reclined so try some different positions out.
