Anyone got a husky?

Iv never had a dog before and we have had our husky for about 3 years now. How are they with babies?
And this might seem like a weird question.. I'm 9 weeks pregnant is it ok to walk them? He doesn't pull really but is still quite a strong dog..

If he pulls at all then you need to address that before the baby arrives.
No dog is totally safe around babies or children. They all need very close supervision. Stairgates are useful in the house and the dog should always have somewhere it should escape to. Ideally you want to train a settle command and have a dog that’s well behaved and calm in the house.

He's perfectly well behaved. Always does as he's told. He doesn't pull. Just wanted experience of people with huskies already.

I dont have a dog but have cats, when my baby comes along i just plan or taking her wherever i go and i lock my cats away at bedtime already for my other children, best to be safe when u have pets. U will get used to a baby with having a dog.

If he doesn’t pull then what’s the problem? I would think about what may change when baby arrives. So when we had our first the baby slept in our bedroom so we shut the cats out before the baby arrived to get them used to it.
