I'm 5+4 with my 4th pregnancy. I've had two mcs at around 5 and 7 weeks and have one DD age 19months.

I want to vanish to a special early pregnancy island where I can live in a cloud and eat sweets and watch Netflix for the next few weeks until I'm at a safer point in the pregnancy. Keep thinking if I can make it to 7 weeks it'll all be ok.

@Sizeofalentil I totally an with you!
Sorry about you're previous mcs. This is my first pregnancy but either I've been googling/munsnetting too much or am just an innate worrier probably both as it's as if nothing else is happening in the world that could possibly take my mind off this for more than 2 seconds and time is dragging. Every moment I don't feel a symptom I'm convinced it's because I've lost it. I wish I'd never heard of the term missed miscarriage as now I can't even rest assured if there is no bleeding.
If you find the early pregnancy cloud please invite meGrin!!

Tisfortired · 19/08/2019 08:14

Can i come to the cloud too please? 5+1 with number two and can't stop thinking/worrying that something is going to go terribly wrong, the 12 week scan seems a million years away!

sprite25 · 19/08/2019 08:23

Can I please come to your cloud? I'm around 8 weeks and struggling with 2 DCs in the summer holiday, I feel awful with nausea and exhaustion but can't tell anyone yet. Every day feels like a week it's dragging sooo much!

Sizeofalentil · 19/08/2019 08:35

There's room for everyone!

I've got a stomach ache / upset stomach so unsure if this is the beginning of the end for me. Just need to get to Thursday then I've reached 6weeks. Then I can book an early scan to check heartbeat etc

I would like to come to the cloud too! First pregnancy but I’m the same as @Greenwhale! I wish I went into the whole TTC completely blind so right now I wouldn’t fret the second I don’t feel nauseous 😫
@Sizeofalentil I wish you a very quick week!

ineedanotherholiday · 19/08/2019 15:45

@Sizeofalentil I know what you mean, I'm on 4th pregnancy, after 3 losses. 2 very early/Chem, one at 5.5-6 weeks.

I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and had an early scan at 6+4 to check, where we saw the little one with a strong heartbeat and measured 6+6. That helped as I haven't made it that far and I'm on meds' this time so have a good feeling, hoping this is it. I couldn't bear to go through this again for it not to be.

We decided to wait until 12 weeks to tell people so I'm cancelling plans and hiding indoors and just basically feeling like crap all the time. Hope it eases in second trimester. Still I wouldn't change it for the world if it means everything continues to be ok with this one!

Lucyben14 · 19/08/2019 16:08

I'm 4-5 weeks with first and feeling very fretty too! I'll join you on the cloud x

Avocuddles · 19/08/2019 17:11

I would definitely like to join your cloud. Found out at 3+3 and am now 4+5, it's only been just over a week but feels like forever. I miscarried at around 7 weeks last time and I'm feeling acutely aware of every twinge and cramp.... I don't feel optimistic because all I've ever known is an unsuccessful pregnancy, but wish I could fast forward a few weeks to know if this one makes it further. Early pregnancy is so hard! x

bee222 · 19/08/2019 18:55

I'm also 5+4 and feeling exactly the same as you right now. I had a mm back in April and i'm so scared :( I'm trying not to get excited about it to protect myself.

RedPandaFluff · 19/08/2019 19:06

I know this feeling well - miscarriages, chemicals, then 4 cycles of IVF to get to my current pregnancy. Every day feels like a week; a week feels like a year.

I found this site reassuring as you can see the odds of miscarriage reducing as the time creeps by: datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer.php

ChikiTIKI · 19/08/2019 19:30

please can i come to the cloud :) is it warm there because this pregnancy is making me feel so cold!!! my mum doesn't know i am pregnant but told me its normal to feel cold when you are tired so hopefully that's the reason.

i had a MC at 8 weeks in december last year. have a DD who is 2 soon. currently 7 weeks pregnant. had a GP appt today and they are referring me for an early scan. i was surprised they suggested it (although glad, and didn't question it), so will just wait to see whether the hospital accept the referral.

GP was asking will i feel excited once i get to 9 weeks and i said i don't know... i don't think i will ever have the same positive feelings as with the first pregnancy sadly.

wishing the best for you all and your little beans !! xxxx

Sheep90 · 19/08/2019 19:45

Currently 16 weeks and still on the island Sad nausea is gross and the headaches won't budge, even with paracetamol. This baby had better be really, really good Grin

Sizeofalentil · 21/08/2019 04:53

Everyone is welcome on the cloud.

What are we all eating and drinking? What shall we watch?

Are we bringing our pets?

Booking my ticket! I'm 6+3 with first baby and am freaking terrified by every feeling!me and dp have been trying for 4 years and I just can't help but think something is going wrong! Roll on 12 weeks!

ChikiTIKI · 21/08/2019 07:49

I remembered that eating melon is a good way for me to stay hydrated without getting an awful aftertaste so having some watermelon today. Also taking another multipack of hula hoops to work as I have run out. For when the taste gets really bad I am eating love hearts.

ChikiTIKI · 21/08/2019 07:50

Don't feel so bad today maybe it's because I had 10 hours sleep :)

LondonKate · 21/08/2019 09:18

I couldn't agree more - I have had two miscarriages at 9 and 13 weeks. I am currently 13 weeks with a successful ongoing pregnancy (so far). This phase goes on forever and you can't even talk about it. It is so draining and I just want a fast forward button!

dev86 · 24/10/2019 09:27

Redpandafluff thank you so much - this is really an amazing tool!!!! ❤️

molly29 · 24/10/2019 22:41

Oh yes please to the cloud, is there a crystal ball there too?
I’m 11weeks, feel like utter crap and I feel incredibly ungrateful that I feel so bloody miserable!!!!!!!

GracieK · 25/10/2019 15:34

Still room on the cloud? I'll bring chicken nuggets for everyone 😂.

It seems so unfair that my first pregnancy I thought everything was going great but ended in a mmc. This time I am convinced that the same is going to happen again and I am only about 5+3. 12 weeks seems like such a long wait.
Has anyone paid for an early scan? And was it helpful? I have cramping this time (didnt last time) and it has made me absolutely petrified xxx

MissisBee · 25/10/2019 15:44

Me too! 6+3 and feeling utterly crap today. Can't find anything I want to eat or drink, but I know I feel worse if I'm hungry or thirsty. I have a 2 year old who is fortunately asleep right now.

Rutheroot · 25/10/2019 15:57

Oh cripes can I join! I'm nearly 38, first pregnancy and this took a year of trying and I am so anxious about something happening and having to start again! I'm booking an early scan as soon as humanly possible.

I was a lot more chill until I heard the words 'silent miscarriage'.

Rutheroot · 25/10/2019 15:58

Also for the last (at 4 weeks) I've had an almost constant slight dull womb ache. No matter how much I read this is normal I do not feel reassured!

MsMiaWallace · 25/10/2019 15:59

Can I jump aboard please!
I'm 6 weeks.
3rd baby.
My anxiety is through the roof.
I had a mc between my 2DS's.

Chaosonthehorizon · 25/10/2019 20:09

Me too, third baby, no symptoms really and had MS with first two. 7 wks ish now and really anxious
