What did they weigh Idris?

Just comparing notes! Mine were 37cm, is that big?

will have to check red book, but IIRC, DS was 35 cm, 7 lb 13, and DD was 32 cm 7 lb 8

37 cm sounds above average !

Ds - 34cm
Dd - 34cm

& they both weighed 7lb 14ozs ds was 10 days late though & dd was only a few hrs late.

dd was 32.5cm and weighed 6lb 5oz.

I think 35cm is average.

At birth 37 is on the 98th centile

At birth 35 is on the 50th centile

thanks for that scooby, my DS1 was 10lb 10oz and DS2 was 10lb 4oz, I didn't realise their heads were big too, I thought they were just looooooooong babies!

MASSIVE! Thinking it was about 38cm - about the same as DD2's LENGTH at birth!! She's still got a rather large cramium now - storing all those brains. Obviuosly.

between 36.5 and 38 , all of them , huge heads

ooh yes I had hands and arms and elbows by their faces as well.

DS1 37cm - 8lb 10oz

DS2 35.5cm - 8lb 1oz

DS 39cm weighed 9lb7oz

kami, that makes sense, all mine were at least 2 weeks over. So it's a bit like trying to push and pull their way out?

Came back to this a little late but DS was 6lb 1oz and DD was 7lb 11oz (and rather easier birth ).

I am feeling jubilant. DS`head was 42cm. had no idea he was so clever! no wonder I shall never go on a trampoline again.
