Hi, this is my first pregnancy and I am just over 5 weeks. I am an over thinker and constantly worrying about everything so with all this being new I'm finding it really hard. Are cramps normal? And when should you worry?
Thanks Smile

I had cramps early on too. They do go away, and my midwife said as long as I'm not bleeding it's fine.

Thanks for the reply, okay I will try not to worry. People don't warn you about all the bad stuff they go on about pregnancy glow in felt crap!

I'm exactly the same! I'm 5 weeks too and getting like not so strong period cramps! I have googled it a lot and seems like it's quite normal so try to relax. Congratulations!

I know what you mean. I'm 11.5 weeks now with my first and completely shattered all the time, though I haven't suffered with sickness a lot which I am grateful for. hope these comments ease your worries.

Yeah they have really helped nice to be able to speak to other women going through similar things, my partners been so supportive telling me everything is okay but he doesn't really no, so I'm glad I found the app. Thank you x

I know what you mean. my boyfriend tries to ease my worries but speaking to people here and reading other people are going through the same is really helpful. these few weeks will drag for your scan, I finally have mine on Thursday and can't wait! have you seen your midwife yet?

jessie0222 · 17/08/2019 21:33

Yeah I feel the same, I see my midwife on the 19th September, how long do you then wait for your first scan? I hope it goes well for you x

I had my first midwife appointment at 8 weeks, then got my letter from the hospital for my scan a week later. I think the norm is they do a scan at 12 weeks. its dragging!

jessie0222 · 17/08/2019 22:26

Okay, so I have a while to go yet then, yeah I bet it has at least you don't have to wait to much longer. Iv has really bad pains at top of my back, I knew lower pains are normal but top of my back god, people don't warn you of all the symptoms
