Disgusting taste in mouth - help me!

I’m 21 weeks and have had a horrible taste in my mouth on and off, but it’s been constant for the last few days and is driving me mad! Nothing I eat, nor copious amounts of tooth brushing are making any difference. It’s a really stale, slightly metallic, taste.

Help me! Is there anything I can use that might help?

Oh yuck that's awful you poor thing. Have you tried ginger biscuits?

Anything I eat provides a bit of relief while I’m actually eating it, but the disgusting taste is back right afterwards.

Try rinse your mouth and throat with bicarbonate of soda diluted in water. Like a teaspoon of soda in third of a glass water. I read this advice somewhere and it helped me.

I've had this but mine came from really bad acid reflux and gastritis. I was constantly eating Rennies and mints but it only provided temporary relief. Only since starting omeprazole has the taste gone. I still have days where if I have particularly fatty or sugary foods it comes back but not as bad
