I heard you shouldn't go when pregnant why is this?

They raise your internal temperature which can harm baby (and you)

Hot baths are ok because they cool so don't raise your internal temperature but saunas etc are consistently hot so raise your internal temperature and your body can't cool properly.

Also risk of fainting etc for you

Ohh thanks. That makes sense I was wondering about baths! I saw a birthing pool at the hospital (it was empty) and it looks like a hot tub so was wondering
