Abdominal pain 21 weeks

Hi all,

21 weeks gone with my LO and driving home from holiday with DH today, when suddenly my uterus started to feel really crampy and painful. Obviously got a bit worried, but now the pain has shifted and I’m wondering if it's trapped wind. No bleeding or any other worrying symptoms.

If it is, though, it's the worst trapped wind I’ve ever had! Does anyone else have experience with second trimester abdominal pain, and can anyone give me a hint or two about how painful it might be, given that my bowels are now sharing space with a very active, wriggly little foetus? I’m genuinely surprised at how much it hurts and still a bit worried.

TMI alert: Not sure if it's connected, but DH and I DTD this morning (and several other times this holiday week!) and I’m wondering whether I’ve just oversensitised myself down there.

Any advice welcomed! Postponed 20 week scan on Tuesday so I’m not going to contact midwife yet unless sth serious like bleeding starts up.
