Ring test (old wives tale)

Hi ladies

Just wondered if any of you have done the old wives tale with the wedding ring & if it was correct??

Seems to be the only one that people use and have success stories with though I obviously know there's a 50/50 chance it being correct!

Do you mean over your bump while pregnant or the one to see how many children you'll have in total? My sister did it for me a few times over the years for fun and it always said Boy, Boy, Boy, Girl. I had a daughter. Tried it a few times since and it keeps saying Girl, Girl. I'm very unlikely to be able to have more. So I would say a big no from me
She did try it over my bump and got girl but tbf, it is a 50/50 chance. I'm skeptical as they come but was something nice to giggle with my sister over

The ring test worked for my sister in law who’s pregnant now. Said boy each time and she is indeed having a boy, said girl for me but as I’m not finding out I won’t know until November! I think its fun guessing with old wives tales

Said boy with DS1 which obviously was right. But we aren't finding out with this one but this time it's indicating girl but don't want to read too much into it haha! X
