Foetal Heart Rate 140+

I've heard an old wives' tale that foetal heart rates below 140 are more likely to be from male babies and above 140 from females. Did anyone find this to be true?

Both my boys were over 140 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nope! The only old wives tale that was correct was the wedding ring.

Most online say circle for girl and straight line for a boy, buy some say circle for boy and straight line for girl.

Which did you follow?

It kind of did for me.

DD was always around 160 ever since her internal scan at 11 weeks. And DS was lower, around or slightly above 140. Also ever since his second scan at 8 weeks.

@HoneyBee833 I went with the circle and I had a girl, the heart rate was always 120's
