Down Syndrome

Hi
I had a CVS in March which revealed we were carrying a Down Syndrome baby. We made the difficult decision to have an abortion (we found out it was from a ‘free’ gene so totally random and we have 3 healthy kids already). I am now pregnant again (10 weeks) and due to have a CVS on Monday for screening. I am worried I am carrying another DS baby. I know my odds are higher, but I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced having two DS pregnancies? Thoughts? Thanks!

No, I’ve been through the testing though, so I wanted to wish you luck that you get the outcome you want. It’s incredibly emotional. X

Thanks, yes, it is super hard. My husband is not dealing with it that well, worse than me. It doesn’t help that at 10 weeks I am already showing!
