Maternity Notes App vs Paper

Anyone else have problem with the app?

First time round my notes were all on paper and I had loads of info and easy to find.

This time however using the app and my first few appointments appeared and then nothing else. No notes or anything.

Midwives keep telling me on the phone stuff has been upload but still nothing.

I will speak to my midwife again, but just wondered if others had similar issues?

Mine went from paper to app between DC1 and 2. I never saw anything on the app other than appointment dates. It was a bit annoying not being able to read everything like the first time but I never bothered mentioning it.

Hi, my first ever post.

So for the last few months I've been going back and forth about wanting a third child I have two sons, 7 and 2. They are healthy and perfect in every way. I had an emergency csection with my first and an elected with my second. Everything with me health-wise is fine. I just don't feel ready to say that I'm done with having anymore kids. And although if I was to have a third boy I would love that... I know what to do with boys. There is part of me that would love a daughter.

My question/worry is am i being selfish? We have pretty much the perfect family dynamic, obviously ups and downs. But In general everything runs pretty smoothly. Is it safe to have a third c section? I think I would have my tubes tied after the last baby.

Sorry for the rambling, but if anyone has any thoughts or has been there I would really appreciate the advice. Thanks 😊

Hi Peanuts, afraid I don't know the answer to your query but I think maybe you meant to post as a new topic rather than a reply? Hopefully someone can help! Smile

I did, I'm so sorry. I'm a bit of a doughnut when it comes to this type of thing. I'll try and move it. Thanks x

I have the app, I think it's dreadful. It doesn't even show my appointments in there?!

I also had paper notes with DC1 and now pregnant with DC2 and using the app.

I think how useful the app is must depend on how well it is used and updated in your area/by the individual professionals. I have personally found it really useful- notes and results from every appointment/contact are on there quickly afterwards, and my appointments pop up immediately after making them. I feel like I have more information than I did last time.

The app interface itself could be more user friendly, as by the third trimester you have to scroll a long way down to find recent information.
