18+2 No movement today - normal?

Hi all

I’m sure this isn’t anything to worry about but would be grateful for reassurance.

I’m 18+2 today (first babe) and only started feeling my baby move on Saturday. Since then it’s been pretty obvious to me but I haven’t felt anything today. I’m guessing it’s because bubba is still so small and has probably changed position. Does that sound about right?

Thanks Smile

Hi! It sounds normal I think xx I'm pregnant with my first and started feeling reeeeallly faint fluttering/tickling sensations about 16/17 weeks but they would come and go.

I'm now 19 weeks and they have just started feeling more 'definite' but still off and on. Apparently it doesn't become noticeably regular until later on, with some women not feeling anything until into the 20s week wise. I think it depends on babies position.

But,if you are really worried, you can always call your midwife for a chat maybe? Xx

18 weeks is very early to look for any sort of pattern, I wouldn't worry baby has lots of space to hide x
