Hello all,
I wondered if anyone had any suggestions for a comfortable, breast feeding friendly night dress for my hospital bag please?
First time round I tried to use a couple from Primark but I didn’t find them easy to feed in (buttons didn’t go low enough) so I was wondering what everyone will be packing/using please? xxx

I had a few shirt style night dresses from Primark. They unbuttoned the whole length.

I had a maternity night shirt in grey/white stripe from Next, just a couple of months ago Smile

I had vest strap style nighties from primark.. I wasn’t overly fussed if anyone saw my shoulder/boob since there’s a curtain round the bed if you want privacy. DP actually had a clever idea of popping loose crop top over the top so I could do one up one down if I wanted to go over to the little cafe room thing if I got kept in longer.

Primark have a lot of nightshirts at the moment - they unbutton the whole way. I've bought a couple for hospital in giant sizes.

Take a look at the Happy Mama website. I got 3 pairs of pyjamas and 3 nighties for under £50. They have a lot of choice and a lot in their sale that are a really good range of prices (some under £5). Some of their styles have got poppers across the diagonal seem from shoulder to neckline and others have the 2 layer top you can lift the front up.

Just a word of warning on the Primark night-shirts... I had one for the postnatal ward last pregnancy and discovered too late that it wouldn't stay buttoned up Blush I assume the buttonholes were too big or something - with every movement, they popped open!

This time around, I've bought a couple of the Happy Mama diagonal seam ones that Rememberallball described.

Ah fantastic, thank you all! Next didn’t even cross my mind.
I’ll have a look at all of those. Thank you for your help 😊 xxx

I had something similar to this www.ebay.co.uk/p/Happy%2DMama%2DWomens%2DMaternity%2DHospital%2DNightdress%2DNursing%2DNightie%2DStripes%2D589p%2DS/2240602565?iid=152694791145&var=452291016000&rt=nc

I like the poppers that open up in the middle because you can open them ann up and give your newborn skin to skin contact without taking off your top.

Congratulations and best of luck
