Hi! Hope you're all ok. Unfortunately I had a MC 4 weeks ago and would like to start trying for a baby again. I have heard that it's 'better' or 'easier' to get pregnant after a MC but was wondering if anyone know why or how?! Thank you! Smile

Hi, I had a miscarriage in January by February I'd conceived again! My rainbow baby, I'm now 29 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby girl. It's easier because you still have all the hormones in your system and the fact your highly fertile. Good luck!

Hello @kidsareok I hope your well.

I was asking the same question a few months back. My story is this -

I fell pregnant in November last year, in the February I had a miscarriage. I opted for self care and to let my body do its thing but after 3 months my body just wasn’t doing what it should so I had surgery.

I then had my period exactly 4 weeks later.

4 weeks after my period I had no sign of my period coming again. I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! The excitement and anxiety kicked in straight away. I had my first 7 week scan last week and I was given the news I’m expecting twins!! My body had released 2 eggs instead of 1 and they both were fertilised!

So yes, there’s every chance of you conceiving again and because your body is sort of almost ready for pregnancy you may find in the next few weeks you may be pregnant again!

Lots and luck to you xx

Sorry about your miscarriage 💐

I miscarried twice. One at 11 weeks on March 2016. I was pregnant after this by August that year. It wasn't immediately after but we needed time to adjust x

I hope this helps you. I am pg again after a miscarriage last year it is early days I am waiting for the 12 week mark.

I waited for 2 month after my mc, mainly because I had a smear test due and thought I'd get that sorted before trying again (I've had dodgy smear tests in the past).
I conceived straight away, according to hospital dating it was our first attempt! I'm now 33 weeks.
I believe you more fertile for around 3 months after, perhaps due to residual hormones etc.

I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant, conceived two months after a miscarriage. Those two months felt like forever! I don't know how people cope who genuinely wait months or years to conceive.

Im currently pregnant with my rainbow baby however it took two losses.

The first one was a mmc in nov. The second one was an early loss at the beginning of March.

I found it easy to get pregnant all three times.

Hopefully your second try will be fine but maybe be prepared for a second loss.

I hope it all goes well for you.

I miscarried march and am now 14 weeks pregnant and conceived in may so not to long really although felt like a long time. During this time I took conceive plus and thought this helped to regulate my cycles

Good luck 💕
