Spotting / driving myself crazy

Hi there

Well now 7 weeks pregnant and still spotting issues. Long story cut short i had a scan at the maternity hospital last Sunday and there was a heartbeat. No explaination for my spotting but saw a 2mm cyst on one of my ovaries.
After lunch in town today felt pain in stomach and went to toilet and I am sure I saw orange / piniish discharge. Head back home and just back to brown. Cramp could be my crohns after eating but who knows.
I panicked and called the helpline at the matty hospital. They said to come in for a scan tomoro morning and that it may just be my cervix etc..Just hope everything is ok and that i find out what is causing this spotting.
So scared. Anyone been through anything similar? Xx

Going through the same thing. I even had the orange looking blood / discharge once as well. I'm now 9 weeks, had this since around 4/5 weeks in and off. At one point it was for two weeks straight spotting and bright red every time I went to the toilet.

They found a cyst in my cervix, which they reckon is why it's happening. I guess we just both need to stay positive and wait it all out, hope that baby stays fine during the unexplained bleeding. It's an anxious time though isn't it! Good luck OP, fingers crossed for both you and me

I bled throughout my whole pregnancy. Mainly spotting but sometimes larger amounts with some pretty big clots. Early on it was a bleed on the uterus and later I was found to have developed cervical polyps. I was a first time mum and every bleed terrified me but I was always reassured that some people do just bleed. Just keep an eye on it and trust your instincts if you think something has changed. My son is now 7 months old and I’m finally getting the polyps removed (still spotting in between periods). Hope everything goes ok with your scan xx

Thank you for ur responses. Got a scan and all good. They believe it is my uterus just expanding. Had midwife today which went well.
