Urgent dating scan?

The midwife called me Tuesday and said as my period was in May but normally I don’t have periods at all and I’ve had no symptoms that they need to book me in for an urgent dating scan to check how far on I am. I’m not panicking as I know I’m not in the 20+ weeks or anything but I am so anxious during the first 12 weeks so I was wondering how long till the letter will arrive with a date for an urgent scan? And how long after is an appointment roughly I’m in Essex. I can’t relax worrying whether the baby is ok and every day is dragging right now! 😅 x

I didn't have an urgent scan and I'm not in Essex so don't treat this as gospel - but after my first MW appt I had a date for a scan sent to me in a couple of days. It seemed really efficient!

I'm in Essex and I think it took about a week for my appointment letters to come through X

Oh ok! I’m due to see the midwife at the end of the month, I usually get sent for a scan and blood test done before seeing a midwife. I should just be patient I’m sure it will arrive this week I’m just so anxious waiting 😟
