Turmeric Capsule while pregnant?

Hello! Has anyone taken Turmeric capsules while pregnant? I am in the very early stages of pregnancy and have been taking 1 x 630mg capsule a day - Reading up on this there is conflicting advice- not sure weather to stop taking?

I recommend not taking anything in pregnancy unless necessary.

the only recommendation by nhs is vitamin d and folic acid. unless there is a specific reason your taking them I wouldn't. if you need them for a health condition or something speak to a gp or midwife

I used to take them pre-pregnancy but thought they were contraindicated when TTC/in pregnancy.

If you want to take tumeric eat it fresh or via the powder in milk like Indian women do. The capsules can cause contractions and may make kidney issues worse in pregnancy.

Thanks everyone... I think I'll stop taking them just to be on the safe side. 😊
