Nipple formers

Has anyone had any success with these?

I couldn’t breastfeed DD1 partly because of flat nipples. I don’t think I used the formers properly but me bringing the nipple out with a pump didn’t help either as it wasn’t the only reason why I couldn’t breastfeed.

Has anyone used them with success?

I don't know specifics but my friend has flat nipples and she fed two babies for a year each and used nipple shields for every feed. Couldn't do it without.

@seven201 - that wasn’t my experience sadly although there were other factors
