I was thinking of doing a course on hynobirthing but they're a bit pricey.

So I might just get a book and/or CD instead. I just searched on Amazon and they have about 12 books on the topic. Anyone have any recommendations?

Hello,
I bought the Marie Mongan book, and it's great. I have also bought the cds from Natal Hypnotherapy, but as they are still in their wrappers, i can't tell you whether they are any good yet. But the book was great in pointing out the obvious to me, so I am v glad i bought it. I believe you can get a book/cd combo from the same author, that might be more useful than the book on its own. Good luck

Maggie Howell's Natal Hypnotherapy CDs - £50 for the set and really really useful. We did her course as well and it was inspiring but you can get by with the CDs

defo marie mongan with the rainbow cd, it is so powerful - sends DH and I off to sleep so quickly every night it is unreal! (i did a course btw and agree pricey but both of us think it was some of the best money spent).

I have the marie mongon method book and CD. I was going to offer to lend it to you then realised you are in New Zealand! I put the CD on my Ipod and it was lovely to listen to when I was anxious and couldn't get to sleep.

Thanks for the offer though Yogimum.

Will go look at the books on Amazon again now I have some recommendations

Yogimum- is there any chance I could borrow the cd? I'd download it onto my pc and send it right back. Or if you could download it onto your pc and I'll send you a blank cd to put it on.

I'm on the due in Nov thread with Anna

yogimum · 05/08/2007 09:14

no problem.

Thanks ever so much. Which way do you want to do it? My email is [email protected]

If you want to email me and then you can tell me which way you prefer doing it. If you can copy it to your pc I'd rather do it that way and send you a cd tbh incase anything happens to the disk
