I need some advice?
I had the whooping cough injection last Friday and I was in pain Saturday and Sunday but it stopped then Sunday night. Today the pain has come back. I’ve pins and needles all through my arm, I can’t life my arm up and my arm is very swollen. I’ve tried paracetamol but it’s not working with the pain.

Is the normal? What can I do? I’m in so much pain 😭

Maybe give your gp or midwife a call? It might just be a bit bruised.

I had this too! It took over a week for mine to go in the end! But I'd definitely give your triage or midwife a call just to put your mind at rest!

God I remember this when I had mine I had a dead arm for about a week and it was a bit hot.

I felt crap after I had mine, couldn’t sleep on side of arm I had it in for days. It also made me feel quite run down- like I had a head cold. Injections don’t bother me in the slightest usually but for some reason the whooping cough really took it out of me x

Same for me. The injection didn’t hurt and they never bother me but the after effects were quite harsh. My arm was like lead and sore for days. Maybe take some paracetamol and put an ice pack on it. If no improvement call midwife.

I had this 2 months ago now, when I was 16 weeks. Having it was fine but my arm was SO sore for a good few days after!! Defo just give the midwife a call, just to reassure you at the very least!
