Evening all. I just need to talk to others who may have been through this. Sorry for the details...
I’m around 10 weeks pregnant and yet to have my scan. All the symptoms are in full swing so haven’t been feeling completely myself. Anyway, husband and I have had sex tonight (first time in four days because of sickness).
It was doggy style and not exactly ‘gentle’ and now I’m panicking but there’s fresh blood stain on the bed and when I wipe after it’s fresh blood.... is this normal?! Does this mean it could be dangerous for baby or miscarriage? I’m terrified we’ve done something bad 😞
Can anyone advise?!

Speak to your GP or midwife in the morning. It probably isn’t anything to worry about unless your DP’s penis can touch your cervix, but best to get it checked out.

I had this a few times and it really frightened me.
Mine was to the point that it was bright red gloopy blood which then turned brown for a good week afterwards.
Everything ended up being ok but I would still contact midwife to be sure.

I had this at just under 7 weeks. I called my GP they got me a referral to the EPU and had a scan. Everything was fine and they couldn't see a reason for the bleed. Really is best to get it checked out, call your GP.

Thanks all so much. I spoke to midwife this AM and just assured me that as it was just a bleed immediately after and hasn't since nor have I had any cramps or anything, she said it's my cervix adjusting and nothing to worry about. Just want to get me 12 weeks scan now so I can feel a bit more reassured I guess. Thanks so much for the replies
