Positive test then all negative

Hi all looking for some much needed advice and hoping someone can relate to this

I don't a clear blue digital test on Tuesday (second pee of the day) It came back pregnant 3+ to say I was over the moon is an understatement I told my partner who was also over the moon so we decided that night let's do another together just so be extra sure for it only to be NOT PREGNANT this was on the same brand and type of test
I just assumed my urine wasn't strong enough so I had 1 left over and decided I would do it first thing on Wednesday morning again I got NOT PREGNANT
I am so Confused and called my GP surgery who booked me in with the nurse who done a test there and then again Negative so she has sent my urine to the lab for testing.
She explained a false positive is possible but very rare and considering the fact my test said 3+ indicates with clear blue around or over 5 weeks
I am not in any medication ect that would have given a false positive
I went home that night still as yous can all imagine wanting to know so I bought the tesco own brand test (not digital) I done one straight away and got a negative done a second late that night again negative so In total I have has 5 negative but 1 positive

I am so Confused my period isn't regular but normally lasts around 6 to 7 days
I have a bleed 2 weeks ago but it was very light more like spotting and only lasted 2 days, the nurse said if it was a chemical pregnancy or a miscarriage I would not get a positive result 2 weeks later

Have I just been unfortunate and gotten a false positive or has my urine just been diluted to much.
I have been adviced to try diluting my urine incase its the Hook effect haven't looked to much into that as of yet

I was also adviced to open the clear blue tests up which I did after taking them and the 3 of them had 3 lines
1 dark(control line) next to that was a slightly lighter one
And on the other stick that's in the clear blue digital had a very faint line in the same place as the test line on the other strip

I hope this all makes sense and someone can help

That is really bizzare, to go from 3 weeks+ to negative in one day! The only thing I can think of is that the original positive test was faulty and for some reason the wrong words came up, saying you were pregnant even though you weren't? I hope you get some answers soon x

So sorry you're going through this. What a rollercoaster. As has already been said, I can only assume the first test was somehow faulty?

Digital tests always have two lines when you open them up. It sounds very much like the original test was faulty
