Chemical pregnancy?

Hi everyone, I haven’t worked out how to use this site quite yet so apologies if this is in the wrong place. Last Thursday 01/08 I had my faint positive test, I continued testing for a few days and began to panic as lines were not getting any darker (using Morrison’s tests each time). I convinced myself I am having a chemical pregnancy. Then I bought some cheap strip tests from eBay and used 2 with my FMU Tuesday morning, negative not the slightest line so I come to terms with it being over. Then this morning (Thursday 1 week from first positive test) I done another cheap eBay test with fmu and although faint there was a obvious positive. Now I am really confused I gave up on the idea but now I think there could be the slightest bit of hope, my period was due 03/08 so 5 days agosad

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Hi OP. When I was in your situation I got a box of FRER and tested each morning. I could clearly see the fading of the line so I knew it was over. By using different brands, they will have different sensitivities and amount of dye etc so you won’t get a good picture of whether HCG is going up or down unless you stick to the same brand/type of test.

Also, make sure you are consistent in when you do them. So all FMU when you haven’t peed since midnight or all SMU after 4 hours of minimal liquids xx
