Thought it would be nice to share how others are feeling at this stage!?
I’ve actually felt worse physically this second trimester than I did first. My anxiety has eased though which is a bonus.. feel like times going quick but still feel ages from due date....
Look forward to hearing from others 💜

I have great news, my fiancé just felt the baby move for the first time! Until recently I’d only experienced little flutters but lately I’ve definitely felt more movement 😊

Kate3150 · 11/08/2019 16:21

@StephRae- ahhhhh that’s so amazing!!!! What a special moment for you both 💜.
Have you decided when you’ll finish work? I just very nearly bought a comforter from white company but resisted. I’ve got a feeling I’ll be given one or two as pressies- we’ll see!!
I’ve noticed my fussiness about colours is already kicking in lol. I’m a neutral girl so not really into the whole pink and blue thing. Quite happy with greys, whites & taupes xx

Yes it was so lovely for him to finally feel something! It’s lookibg like I’ll probably finish in about 10 weeks, maybe sooner if I’m lucky because it’s quite a tiring job without being pregnant.

bobble53 · 11/08/2019 17:43

My acid reflux is horrendous, I’ve not kept a meal down since Friday now! Luckily I can feel my boy wriggling and kicking all the time so at least he’s ok. The same can’t be said for me though!

AryaNoOne · 12/08/2019 17:45

Had our scan today and just like you @Everafter1 it seems like my family and friends guessed right and I was wrong, we are having a girl. She is stubborn already and wouldn’t get into the positions the sonographer needed so it took ages to check her over but they managed it and she is fine. We’re so happy and excited and I feel able to start shopping now I know she is ok.

Everafter1 · 12/08/2019 17:55

@AryaNoOne Congratulations 💕 must be a girl thing lol mines is very active.
It's a huge weight getting that scan done.
Time to get excited and get the baby things in ☺️

GrannyClanger · 12/08/2019 19:20

@Kate3150 All of the White Company things are so lovely! I have absolutely no idea what to do about Christmas plans. Usually spend it just me and my husband anyway, but might invite myself to MIL so I don’t have to cook (only if I’m late!) I guess if baby has arrived it will be a very quiet occasion Grin

Has anyone been doing yoga/pilates? I’ve got some dvds ordered. Feel like I should be doing more exercise!

Kate3150 · 13/08/2019 14:04

@GrannyClanger- we live away from family and most of our friends so will most probably be the two (or 3 actually lol) of us for Xmas!
I went to a couple of yoga classes earlier on... I may rejoin again. I’m just a nightmare at losing interest in things easily 😂... I was all up for getting into yoga then once I’d been kind of lost interest 🥴 xx

Finding out what I’m having today, my family have spent the last couple of weeks guessing based on my bump which I’m not sure is very accurate but it’s still fun 😂 what do guys think? The bump is still small so it might be hard to tell though.

Inthesky42 · 13/08/2019 15:35

Hey I'm 22.5 weeks and having a boy too! I'm mostly feeling OK apart from hip pain when sleeping.. I also can't stop eating! I'm always hungry!

Kate3150 · 13/08/2019 16:40

@StephRae- Awwww you have a lovely bump! How did your scan go? There’s seems to be quite a few boys due on this forum.

@Inthesky42- Welcome to the forum! Awww you’re team blue as-well, have you bought much yet? I cannot wait to buy some baby clothes.
I’m also hungry a lot, my diet hasn’t been the best but I guess some food is better than none xx

@StephRae aww that’s such a cute bump! Mine is tiny too - some days he really pops out but today you wouldn’t think I was pregnant to look at me and I’m 24 weeks tomorrow. Hoping I pop out for good soon!

I’ve been given omeprazole and im SO much better! Really recommend anyone suffering with acid reflux to get it from their GP x

Aneley · 13/08/2019 17:59

Hi, 21+4 here and expecting a girl :D

Bought her some books and a very cute koala toy. That's pretty much it - still too nervous to shop, I guess.

StephRae · 13/08/2019 18:02

Thank you guys, I’m pleased to announce I can now say I’m expecting a girl and she’s looking lovely and healthy! The ultrasound technician said she’s the perfect size and everything 💕

bobble53 · 13/08/2019 19:35

Aww fab! Our boy measured all perfectly except for his long gangly legs which are way above average but my fiancé is 6ft4 so not really surprised by that!

Kate3150 · 13/08/2019 19:48

@Aneley- welcome & congratulations!!!
Well you’ve bought a lot more than me lol, I’ve done and bought nada!!! How exciting you’re having a little girl, no doubt you’ll be tempted to buy zillions of clothes. Baby girl clothes are just soooo cute!!
@StephRae- YAY!!!! That’s amazing, so pleased all went well and you’re having a little girl thats so exciting. Was she behaving herself during the scan? My little man was being very stubborn and didn’t want to move to have all measurements taken x

OP posts:
StephRae · 13/08/2019 19:54

@bobble53 oh wow he’ll probably be tall like his dad then!
@Kate3150 thank you and yes luckily she cooperated 😂 I was surprised because she was quite active literally just before the scan!

Nervousdave · 13/08/2019 22:23

Hey! I'm 22+5, and also having a boy! We got the cot and changing table second hand from FB yesterday, absolute bargains, and really good quality. The changing table just needs a paint freshen up with a couple of chips on the sides of the drawers.

I've had a couple of small toys as gifts from friends and family, and bought one reallly cute and soft outfit in the Joules sale. A few of my friends have had boys in the last year and have told me not to buy any clothes as they'll lend me everything! But they're so cute and tiny...

I'm totally overwhelmed by pram though. I'm wanting to just go to someone who will give me a list of everything that will fit into my small car boot, show me the best ones, and let me browse Blush is this too much to ask?!

Kate3150 · 17/08/2019 12:37

@Nervousdave- Welcome & congratulations!!!!!!
We’re both having little boys, I’m so excited to meet him. I’m not ashamed to admit I’m wishing the time away until December 😂.
Have you thought of any names? Me and my hubby like completely different ones so will be interesting to see what we come up with lol.
I know what you mean, I wish I could have someone say you need this, this & this! Would make life so much easier.
All I’m interested in is buying cute clothes and accessories as that doesn’t involve much thinking lol. I’m sure I’ll be on here asking a zillion questions when I actually get round to buying a pram, cot etc xx

OP posts:
Nervousdave · 19/08/2019 23:16

@Kate3150 we also like totally different names. I'm not even sure what he likes, just none of mine 🙈 theres one or two names that are ok and we are both ok with but I'd rather have a name we love?
We had agreed on a girls name early on and really quickly, we both loved it.... at that point I just KNEW we would turn out to be having a boy 😂

Kate3150 · 20/08/2019 18:50

How’s all you lovely ladies doing?

I’ve got a consultant appt on Thursday as may have to be booked in for a c-section. I had a dream the other night I was having one so I’m totally prepared lol.

Hope you’re all good 💜

StephRae · 21/08/2019 21:55

Hi guys, hope you are all well. I haven’t been on here due to doing several night shifts at work 😩 luckily have a couple days off so I’m using them as a chance to buy baby stuff!

Kate3150 · 13/09/2019 18:32

How’s it going ladies??? I’m approaching 27 weeks 🙈! Got some terrible nausea today. Really counting down the time now xx
